Due to changes in structure and management the office moved to their present location in Akron, Pennsylvania. Besides arranging world wide logistic services for our North American customers, the procurement of commodities for humanitarian projects one of the pillars of the company. Mission & Relief in the Netherlands was established in 1993 to support relief organization with transport and logistics. The main activity at that time was to assist our customers with proper documentation for customs purposes at destination countries. In first instance we organized road transportation to Eastern Europe and slowly other means of transport are being used, like sea- and airfreight. In the mean time Mission & Relief, has people specialized in road transportation as well as sea/airfreight. Mission & Relief operates warehouses specially designed for storage and handling of humanitarian commodities. The procurement of goods for emergency and development project are part of the Mission & Relief service. Due to fact that more and more customers are based in USA and UK we established offices in these countries to optimize our service.
