Mission & Relief celebrates its 25th anniversary!

On May 31, 2020, it will be exactly 25 years since Mr. Kees Klaassen officially registered Mission & Relief. He started alone, and soon after, the first employees followed. In 2005, Mr. Klaassen retired, and I, Michel Stolk, together with my former partner, took over Mission & Relief from him.

In the past 25 years, Mission & Relief has grown into a significant player in the field of transporting relief goods worldwide. We are now known as a logistics partner with a practical approach to the transport of relief goods by sea, land, and air. We also organize the export and import of goods, transshipment, and brokerage of all kinds of goods related to the aid and development world.

Twenty-five years is a long period with many memories and, of course, the ups and downs that every company goes through. But looking back, we are especially pleased with and grateful for the trust that customers have always placed in us. First by the customers from the very beginning and then by all the organizations and companies that followed. What we are especially grateful for is the fact that the majority of our customers have remained loyal to us over the years. Without our customers, the company would not have been successful. I myself, but also the employees of our company, realize that we owe this anniversary not only to ourselves but that we are richly blessed by our good, faithful Lord.

But of course, we also want to thank all the employees who dedicate themselves to our company every day or have done so in the past. Without your efforts, Mission & Relief would not have been what it is today.

Of course, we wanted to celebrate our 25th anniversary, but unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, we had to postpone this. On the other hand, it is not just a celebration on May 31, 2020, but we are dealing with an anniversary year. We, therefore, hope to be able to celebrate the 25th anniversary with family, staff, and our customers and relations in the near future.

Once again, I would like to thank everyone who has worked with and for Mission & Relief over the past 25 years for their time, energy, and loyalty.
