After the Iraqi army has defeated IS in and around Mousl, many Iraqis have fled from their homes in Mosul Northern Iraq. In the areas surrounding Erbil and Dohuq there now reside thousands of refugees who had to leave most of their possessions behind and are awaiting what the (uncertain) future will bring.

In response to this situation , are all sorts of relief actions have been started to raise money to respond to this need in Northern Iraq, to provide relief supplies to these needy people.

Especially now the refugees from Mosul has come – with many people homeless – there is an urgent need for blankets, mattresses, under (studded) mattresses, camping mats.

In general, the following goods are needed: (Winter) clothing, (winter) footwear, tents, blankets, mattresses, hygiene articles (such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, etc.) It is also possible to send food items, but it must meet certain requirements to be imported in Iraq.
